Departmental Profile: The
Department of Commerce is one of the first six departments of
Assam University Diphu campus. It started its functioning in 18th
July 2007. The thrust area of the teaching of the department is
on the developing the capabilities amongst the students the
power of comprehension, reasoning and analyzing the current
business scenario vis-à-vis business decision making. The
special focus area of the department is ENTREPRENEURSHIP
including Social entrepreneurship. The department offers range
of specialization in the areas of Accounting and Taxation,
Finance, Marketing, Entrepreneurship, International Business,
Human Resource Management, Small Business Management etc.
