Research Interests:

  1. Chemical Biology of water-soluble photosensitizers involving tetrapyrrolic macrocycles (porphyrins, corroles, phthalocyanines etc.), fullerenes, and quinazolines.
  2. Applications of the synthesized photosensitizers under biomolecular prospects considering both cancer and antimicrobial Photodynamic Therapy (PDT).
  3. Applications of the synthesized compounds as anti-viral (especially anti HIV-1), anti-bacterial, and anti-fungal agents.
